I now just need to make a heatshield and powdercoat the intake tube a bright white. i'm gonna make a "wall" that comes straight down from the washer fluid bottle and goes to the battery tray.....the filter will then be "boxed" in. It is nice and loud at about 3500...and it now likes to pull hard all the way to 6k...although I let it shift before then.... there is not any noticable loss of low end like some people say..but it sure likes to breath at the high end.... ....there is very minimal heat soak into the intake tube.....although it was like 45 here last night....i went and drove around for an hour and came home and the tube was still nice and cold... 8) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I got the tube from here.....P# 9173045 I had to cut about 1.5" off either side of the metal tube. The rubber Nitrile hose I got Here and the part number is 30216 and it looks like This I got the part for $10 instead of $17.10 cause they had the price listed wrong I talked to the guy on the phone and said I was lucky.
