AUDIO SYSTEM

• My audio system is primarily Sony Mobile ES and consists of the top-of-the-line Sony CDX-C90 Mobile ES indash CD player with motorized flip-down face and full dot-matrix display. The C90 is a very tight fit! I also have a pair of JL Audio 12W1 subwoofers, two Sherwood XA-5400 amps, Pioneer rear 6x9's, and Blaupunk front 4" speakers (yuck, Blaupunkt sucks).

SECURITY SYSTEM

• DEI Viper 800ESP - replaced factory keyless entry module (5/01). The alarm gives the car the following additional features:
  • Domelight supervision - domelight stays on for 1 minute after disarming or shutting off ignition.
  • Delayed Accessory Power - keeps radio on after ignition is shut off until a door is opened.

BRAKES

• Bigger 11" rear rotors and 94+ style rear calipers (2/14/99)

SUSPENSION

• Rear struts are KYB GR2 gas struts with Monroe 63975 jounce bumper/boot kit. KYB is a Japanese company that makes OEM struts for Toyota. KYB has a good reputation for building an excellent, quality product. The KYB struts are valved and tuned just perfectly for the FE3 sport suspension. They are firm, but not so stiff as to be uncomfortable.
• GM front Strut Tower Brace (7/20/99) - See engine compartment pic to see what it looks like.
• GM 34mm Front Sway Bar (4/4/00) - Replaced the original 30mm sway bar with the biggest GM bar.

APPEARANCE

• Window Tint - Right now I only have the back glass and rear quarter windows tinted. The tint is SolarGard 20% smoked tint. I chose SolarGard because they use a metallized film that will never turn purple, guaranteed. I had the tint done at Ultimate Auto Trim in Springfield, Missouri.
• Red Taillight Emblems

My taillight rocket emblems are painted transparent red to match the rest of the taillights (they are normally chrome). This gives the rear end a cleaner appearance. It was done using Testor's Candy Apple Red spray paint with a topcoat of clear enamel to give it a super-glossy finish to match the rest of the taillight. The emblem is now a shiny red chrome when you look at it up close. From a few feet, the emblems are invisible. (yes, I know the clearcoat on the bumper is going bad)

MISC. GADGETS

• Chime/Door lock Module from a 1994 Cutlass Supreme for automatic lock/unlock and auto relocking (4/10/00).

When I'm finished, this is the look I'm after...

..understated, yet bold and aggressive.

I'm searching for a nice rear wing spoiler... I found a '98 Buick Regal (shown in the photo at right) that has pretty much has the spoiler I want for my Cutlass. It's hard to tell by the picture, but that wing is very curved and the LED is very long (33.5"). Now all I need to know, is what brand/model is it, and where do I buy one? I have been looking for one like this since 1994 so please help me out!!!
