straight pipes with resanators?

Recommended Posts

Ok, well, while at dads shop today, he was showing me all the new exhaust bending stuff he has. He showed me their muffler selection, and then the tips.

He mentioned that instead of my Dynomax Super Turbos, that straight pipes with a resonanting tip would be a good choice. I think it would be a bit loud.

Does any one have a sound clip of straight pipes with resonators? And would I want to keep the resonator on already (right arround the muffler)? Or just take that out too?

well, i have no sound clip but my gp with no exhaust is really loud. so i guess it would be loud at the back of the car. you may get noticed by local cops.

When the main pipe that connects to my mufflers fell off my 2.8 is sounded like ASS. Driving around it felt like I was driving a Civic

i had to replace my muffler a while back and rode with it gone and it sounded pretty bad and it also got me a warning from the local law enforcements but other than that if you like warnings and tickets i say go for it :D
