GPdriver1986
I had a large exhaust leak maybe 3 months ago and it I got it fixed with a an arc welder at school. Now that i'm off school some of the weld fell off and there is some small holes making noise. I was wondering how effective would JB weld be to fix this problem? digitaloutsider
I dunno how effectivie JB Weld will be on something like this, but I bought some muffler repair shit in a tube at AutoZone to patch up a (drilled) hole in my exhaust pipe. Works great.
GPdriver1986
These holes are basicly like someone took a needle and just poked a few holes on the weld.
White93z34
i've used both when i got a huge hole in the cat of the ciera i used a lag bolt and jb weld to seal it up, it all depends on how big the hole is and where it's at, recently i used some muffler mender of some sort to patch a crack formin in one of my mufflers worked ok, it's starting to flake off abit now, i prob didn't put it on right :? midnight rider
JB Weld will burn off eventualy. Take it ot a shop and fork over the $35 to have it welded and be done with it. you'll be gald you did in the long run...
GPdriver1986
I bought this stuff in a tube, its not JB weld, its actually built for mufflers and exhaust cracks. I'm not gonna weld it again because it will fall off.
