allright dood, get your panties out of your crack, first I will quote my previous post

Overall though the t60 is a good trans and I know of many that last past 100k and even some well past 150k. The health of the t60 I believe has todo alot with the driver more so than the trans. The t60 was never really ment beat on.

2nd I didnt mean my comment to be a dick size contest but if you want that Ill have to get out my engine stand so I can prop the thing up and take a pic

I dont think its the flush itself thats the problem but like going from dino oil to synthetic it may aggervate problems that exsist such as roasted out clutch packs or bad valve seals. Ill be able to get a better idea on that once I get to tear mine down in a few weeks here.

That damn going around the corner issue could so easily be solved with a machined piece of 1/16" steel. Im hoping it may be possible to solve that one becasue I personally perfer to drive the twisties a bit more than just a good ol stright line.

And never did I say ALL t60s fail at 75k which is what has some of you guys all defensive (why? I have no freaking clue) I said they have a tendency to die out around then so in general you want to watch out for the problem signs.

Feel better now? Dont forget to take your meds or the stress might kill you

Hope I am not interrupting anything, but I have another question. will the 24 lb injectors work, I found a lot of those? Also, what size regulator would I need?

Umm I think your talking about the 24lb injectors found on the mustang, yes they will supposedly work, but im note 100% sure.

Further any injector upgrade will require PCM tuning to use the injector.

Before you go through all the trouble of getting bigger injectors.....I'd make sure that you are going to need them (running lean)........personally, I really don't think they will help out that much....mainly because the computer should see a lean condition via the oxygen sensor and *should* be able to comensate.

If you do end up getting larger injectors, I'd upgrade the pump as well.....most people seem to like the Walhboro 255 pump.

I'm basing my opioion on trans flushes on the (small) experiences from the dealership........the only trans failures I have ever seen are from SERIOUS neglete. I simply haven't seen a transmission get smoked from a trans flush......and its not like its a small dealership.....I think there are 45 techs or so. So, I'm not saying it won't or couldn't happen......only that I wouldn't be afraid of flushing a transmission with 100k on it and the orginal fluid in it.

the size injector needed depends on the size of a shot run. A 50 shot technically needs a 20.5lb or higher injector flow rate on a v6. However 1lb wont destroy things or cause any serious issues. Anymore than that however and you will want to upgrade the injectors.

I think the 3800 or maybe its the l67 has 24lb injectors but Im not sure if they work or not.

I think you should invest into an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and adjust the amount of fuel needed via that when you hit up the dyno.

Manticor, how are you basing the fuel needed here? Just sort of curious as to how thats done.....I've got an idea on how to do it with boost....just wondering how it applies to nitrous.

its a pretty crude calculation as provided by Witchhunters site, lacking a better algorithim at the moment it will suffcie. What I dont like about thier page is they dont take bore in stroke into account. If I ever get time maybe Ill see if I can find a better calculation.
