After driving it for a little while and parking I hear a loud beeping coming from the gas door. When I open the gas cap the beeping stops and you can hear the pressure drop rapidly. You can actually see fumes coming out. What the hell is this and how can I stop it? Is this bad? It's really annoying because the beeping is loud as shit. Dan94Z34 Posted August 4, 2004 Report Share Posted August 4, 2004 there is a vent tube on the fuel tank that vents all the excess gas vapors to the charcol canister.
