gp90se
yes synthetic tranny will help you shuft MUCH better and run cooler, meaning it will last longer. worth the investemnt IMO
f_399
just some feedback had the synthetic trans fluid now for more then a week and i really feel the improvement. before i used to shift from 1-2 very rough... now it has smoothened out but i still feel it shifting at times (some cars you dont even feel the shift from 1-2, 2-3, 3-4). the car has been shifting smoothly in higher gears. i would say this royal purple is pretty good, have not tried other syunthetic oil though. how does the fluid change how the car shifts? is it just me? SigEpCutlass
my cutty runs synthetic amsoil tranny fluid. it works great, but it's still not as smooth as i'd like it to be. I would like not to feel any shifts, but that's probably not possible...
Goph
I may have to see about putting this in my GP, I know that tranny could shift a lot smother then it does now.
midnight rider
Royal Purple works great. a cheaper alternative is to use the regualar style fluid and add a bottle of Lucas Trans. Treatment. It will shift better than a new tranny. I used it in my car and it removed a shift shudder problem i had.
Canada
How are you guys changing out ATF? I'm curious as to what the synthetic stuff does when it mixes with the ATF thats currently in the transmission. You aren't supposed to mix synthetic and dino engine oil.........I'm curious if that shouldn't apply here too.

Canada
Yeah......and b;ended oils suck dick...........look at any online comparison (other than one made by blended companies)........and you'll see they are worse than Fram filters.
