Crank Position Sensor

I want to replace the CPS on my 1991 GTP, DOHC 3.4. What is required? The shop manual does not say much; I took a look and there is so much stuff that I cannot even see it.

Please advise.

Thanks

I don't mean to pry, but why is that you want to replace the sensor? If the crank sensor is dead or bad the engine usually won't even start, since the ECM uses it to find proper timing. Before going through the trouble of replacing the sensor you may want to make sure thats what the problem is becuase then sensor is a total PIA to get at on a 3.4. The easiest way to access it is to do it as if you were changing the alternator (i.e drop the subframe or remove the passenger side wheel/hub/axel). Not a lot of fun.
