scorpion_x9 Posted July 28, 2004 Report Posted July 28, 2004 I found this while searching the internet, the Venom400. Some sort of sensor fooling device. I found this post: http://www.w-body.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9989&highlight=venom+400 From what I see in that post, the thing is a $300 useless slab of electronics. Does anyone have anymore info on this device? Quote

BIGBULS Posted July 29, 2004 Report Posted July 29, 2004 It's essentially an overpriced TPS enhancer. You can do what it does by pushing your right foot down faster............. Quote
GP1138 Posted July 29, 2004 Report Posted July 29, 2004 The flat spot or delay found with automatic transmission downshifts, which can be as much as three seconds, is eliminated (when equipped with auto instead of manual). I'm pretty sure that for most people it's not 3 seconds unless your tranny is slipping. My transmission was low on fluid and it took that long to downshift, but was due to fluid level. WTF? Does that little black box alter your tranny without any human intervention? Quote
manitcor Posted July 30, 2004 Report Posted July 30, 2004 the Venom has been around, been used by MANY MyMonte members and all of them sold the damn thing on ebay withing 3 months of having it. The best it did for them was turn thier fuel economy to shit. Quote
