90lumina3.1 Posted December 16, 2002 Report Posted December 16, 2002 aight... heres how it goes. my outer pad was down to metal, inner still had half the pad left(if not more). everyone tells me my sliders are stuck, but i need to know exactly what the sliders are are they the bolts or the thing the bolts go into? and how do i clean it? also, where do i put anti-seize stuff on it so it doesnt happen again? basically... i need to know how to fix stuck sliders. Lee Posted December 17, 2002 Report Posted December 17, 2002 The bolts go through the slides and bolt into the hub. The slides have the rubber seals on each end. You have to remove the caliper, remove the seals convince the slides to come out, emery cloth them, coat with anti-sieze compound and reassemble. The book says buy new but it worked for 5 years for me. Quote
