GRRRR!!

I got my intake gaskets in, and started the car. Now the distribtor drive shaft o-ring is leeking A LOT. Now Im in the process of taking the intake back off.

 

I am just going to use my angle grinder and grind the lip down on the top of the shaft and place two distribtor gaskets in there oppsite of each other. Ok, I am done ranting now.

That should work nicely. Use sealer liberally and you should be fine. The one on my wife's 3.4 has been bone dry for almost 2 years now with that fix.

Spend the money ard grab a can of Permatex Right Stuff.....best gasket maker around, IMHO.

I used the black RVT that came with my intake set for my Beretta 3.1. If they use this stuff as the side intake gasket, then I think it will work with the dis. gasket.
