BlackZ34Lumina
I have this coolant leak that seems to be coming from around the bottom of the crank pulley area. I'm pretty sure it's not the water pump cause it is new. Anybody have any idea on what could be leaking? Is there plug or tube or something? Thank you guys very much. BlackZ34Lumina
Anybody had this prob before?
chronic139
maybe if the water pump was not torgued down properly the seal may not have taken. Or a hose or clamp may not be attached/tightened properly.
STR
sounds like the line going to the heater core, they rot out.
BlackZ34Lumina
Okay thanks guys. The Heater line sounds like it could be the problem. I've gotta get under it to see if this indeed is the prob.
88regal
Get a Coolant Pressure tester from Auto Zone. They let you returnit once your finished using it. It hooks up where your radiotor cap goes and you'll fid the leak in no time. It's how I found the leak in my cooling system; a bad gasket in the water pump.
