Universal Electric Waterpump

Great way to free up some horsepower at the crank...literally! This baby mounts on the lower radiator hose. Vegeta once stated that his buddy removed the powersteering pump and could literally "feel" the gain in hp. Maybe this isnt the best E.P. in the world, but its a start to get some of your minds rolling to see if someone can create something new; more practical, more w-body specifc, the choice is up to you....

and how exactly did you make that when its already a kit? There is a thread on mymonte.com about them (cheaper) that go into the stock waterpump housing. Still have to take measurements to get the right universal one but its possible.

How many hours is that pump good for? Last I checked they were good for 3500 hours or so but that was in 2000 when I was checking them out.

on a more serious note ive been considering bugging Welboro to make pumps for the OHV 60v6 engines. Though I swear Ive seen one that would work as a stock replacement in a magazine somewhere. Will be doing some research to find out more as I have been intrested in elimnating the pulley driven WP.

If you might be intrested in a perfect fit electric WP for OHV 60v6 engines let me know.

I would say for the DOHC and 3800 as well but I think those are different designs (and I think the 3800 already has one :?: )
