Opinion on Arospeed Floor Bar???

I was wondering if anyone has an Arospeed floor bar/brace? I've seen a couple cars on the net that have the bar. It seems like a good idea to help stiffen up a uni-body car.

Here's what the ad says.

The Arospeed lower floor bar is designed to create a brace between each side of the chasis. This bar is placed in between the front and rear seat floor, and bolts directly into the seatbelt mount. By being placed in a centralized area of the vehicle it helps to create a more rigid chasis which can also help stiffen the suspension. It also helps to give the car the look at feel that most sport compact owners desire.

Most places sell the bar for $99 to $150. But I found this website that sells it for only $50.

That's ugly as hell. Even if my car's unibody frame wobbled like jello I still wouldn't want that ugly thing.

:puke:

I don't know about you...but if I did that...how the hell would I get out of my car...Our mounts are in the doors. Wee.
