Lumina3.1 Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 I really don't know how to explain this. This is on my dad's 93 Lumina Euro 3.1. When driving at low speeds (30MPH or so) you can here a rubbing sound coming from the left front wheel. When you ever so slightly apply the brakes this noise will go away, and will continue to stop as the brakes are applied. As soon as the brakes are released you can here this noise again. Can anyone please tell me what this noise is? Quote
vegaslumina Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 I cant tell you what it is but i would like to know, I have the exact same problem with my 94 Lumina. Quote
dohc v6 Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 i would pobably say it is a warped rotor. i had the same problem and a new rotor fixed it. Quote
Lumina3.1 Posted July 13, 2004 Author Report Posted July 13, 2004 I was beginning to suspect a warped rotor myself. I'm not really sure when they were last replaced, but I do feel a slight pedal pulsation when I depress the brake pedal. Quote
