Speckkial Posted July 9, 2004 Report Posted July 9, 2004 I just got some fresh work done on my car. I got a rear caliper un-frozen. I got new rear brake pads (old ones were almost rusted out) and a new thermostat. I also got a new water pump, fuel filter, and I got the radiator flushed. As I was leaving the shop, after the car was started, the "check engine" light and the "check gages" light came on. I put the car in reverse right back into the shop because I thought they did something wrong. Come to find out, they left a screwdriver on top of the crossbar that goes over the driverside fuse box and they closed the hood on top of it. But all in all, the car is riding pretty good. I still have to go back for a spring or coil that is suppose to hold the acceleration to something else under the hood (whatever that is). I think that's why the car hesitates to accelerate after coming to a complete stop. Quote
