Maverick
First the anti-lock, now this one. What the fuck. Ideas/suggestions? I don't even use the ebrake anymore since it stoped setting properly.
Guest TurboSedan
try pulling on the e-brake release handle and pull *up* on the lever.
runt
Doesn't the Brake light come on if there isn't enough fluid? Also, check your fuses for the brakes, tails and turns. I had my car do this when the brake lights didn't come on when the pedal was pushed.
ismellrealbad
that was my problem. i had low fluid so the light would always come on and go off
DiscoStudd
I know if you're having problems with the ABS, the BRAKE light will sometimes light along with the ABS light. Can't say for sure why, but maybe you need to have the Brake Control Module scanned if you're already having ABS problems...
THe_DeTAiL3R
sticking rear calipers perhaps...?
bluegp
First the anti-lock, now this one. What the fuck. Ideas/suggestions? I don't even use the ebrake anymore since it stoped setting properly. Check the switch mounted on the parking brake pedal - pull the connector off & see if the light goes out. Mine broke causing the brake light to stay on. Speckkial
sticking rear calipers perhaps...? I don't think sticking rear calipers are the problem. My rear caliper was frozen and my e-brake light never came on.
jeremy
I would bet that low fluid is at minimum part of the problem....
