90 lumina euro

new battery

when i use anything electrical in the car all the lights dimm and the voltage drops from 14 volts to 13.8 volts when the brakes are pushed and the rpms drop a little bit is this normal?

.2 volts? I wouldn't worry. A 'normal' charging system is supposed to run between 14-16 volts. These cars suck up electricity. I certainly wouldn't worry about .2 volts. If you want, check your alternator.

yea but for the rpms to drop and the lights to dimm is that ok

i put the battery in

Almost any auto parts store will do it for free. Check with an Auto Zone, Advance Auto Parts, or any CSK auto in the area. Yeah its normal for the RPM's to fluctuate. The engine is compensating for the increased load on the system. It should be a momentary fluctuation.
