I noticed that the flywheel inspection cover is missing on my Cutlass.

 

How bad is this?

 

 

OMG, YOUR FLYWHEEL IS GOING TO FLY OFF!!!!!!!!!!

good to know. i decided...im going to buy a 5-speed W-body just to finally know what the hell it feels like. i think ill look for a loaded '90 SE. yup, sounds like a plan to me.

You won't go back, I'll say that much. Yes get a loaded one, it's way too much work to add all these options after.

Looks like its still there in the pic... That 1x2" opening back there is normal and is left uncovered.

 

Either way, I got one from a 284 laying around somewhere, I'll see if I can find it.

Wouldn't one from a 282 be the same??

Not sure. How similar are trannys?
