WhiteOut Posted June 30, 2004 Report Share Posted June 30, 2004 Yeah, most good automotive retailers will carry a dash repair kit. Its generally a liquid vinyl stuff that you spread on wait for it to dry a few minutes and then press a patch of vinyl over it to give it the correct texture. The stuff is a major PIA to work with and it tends to get everywhere except where you want it to, kinda like working with super glue. Baddflash Posted July 2, 2004 Report Share Posted July 2, 2004 You should be able to take it in to a shop to be repaired, it's not to expensive and they do an awesome job. My uncle had the original dash of his '70 Le mans convertible fixed and you can't tell it was cracked and he didn't have it painted. I'd have to ask him who did it but I don't that'd matter for you anyway. A restoration or hot rod shop might be a good place to start looking.
