Guest TurboSedan
my car really needs new spark plugs. i would go buy ACDelcos for the NA 3.1 engine but i am going to be throwing all of my TGP parts onto it next month. what spark plugs should i go with? the NA 3.1 R44LTSM? or the 3.1 Turbo R42LTS? maybe something else? what about gap? and if anyone can explain heat range or anything else about spark plugs i'd like to know more about these. thanks

Guest TurboSedan
will the car run ok on the R42LTS plugs for awhile before it's turbocharged? i know the TGP motor has slightly lower compression than my motor, that's mainly why i'm asking. Brian P
The turbo plug is a hotter plug... you can use it for a little bit, but not terribly long. Worst case is the plugs get destroyed, but for $1.29 a plug you may as well put the right ones in for now.
gp90se
i might be wrong about this 1, but i thought u wanted the colder plugs in a turbo motor? -Jeff
