Chinski
So I guess my left rear trailing arm is bent and possibly cracked. It doesn't look too hard to replae to me, but is there anything special that I have to do?. Should I get a replacement from a yard or where? Guest
If you get it from a yard, then you run the risk of it being bent. It is a pain to take it off, and put it on seeing that they are torqued to a rediculously high number (over 100 ft.-lbs.). Just back the car up onto ramps, and use a strong ratchet with a pipe to get it off. and most importantly off all, be careful. GPRACER
I recently replaced the left rear arm on my car, was less than 60 bucks at the dealer, I'd reccomend a new one. not a hard repair at all, wouldn't hurt o have a torque wrench and some specs.. Chinski
Yeah this manual says 192 ft-lbs. Good thing I have a good torque wrench and a breaker bar.
