stockgp Posted June 26, 2004 Report Posted June 26, 2004 what's the cable on the steering column do? it runs from the cluster of wires through the firewall. oh and it's from a 97 cutlass Quote
DiscoStudd Posted June 26, 2004 Report Posted June 26, 2004 Are you sure it runs thru the firewall cause the only cable on a console shifted steering column is the shifter interlock. That runs from the ignition switch (not the lock cylinder) to the shifter. That's what prevents you from shifting unless the ignition is in "off" or "run." Quote
