The Grand Prix one only looks like it does more because it has that big ol' compass. The VFD version in the Grand Prix on the other hand, can do quite a bit showing doors, hood, trunk ajar, bulb status, etc., but I highly doubt anyone here would bother going to the amount of work required to make all that work.
