Kalgorn
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=66475&item=7907061492&rd=1 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=66475&item=7907051175&rd=1 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=66475&item=7907174900&rd=1 I know they're used but the tread doesn't seem too bad especially for 40 bucks each. And since the guy is in Allentown I can pick them up because that's less than an hour away. I'll save atleast 80 bucks on shipping meaning I can have a set of decent tires for $160. What do you think? Which ones should I get, if any? Remember, I'm cheap. I'm running 225/50R16s right now so I'm going for the same width because I don't want the tires to stick out from the wheelwell. Oh and I don't know the offset of the new wheels. Konig hasn't emailed me back (don't expect them to) and I can't find it on the internet.
90TGP
Which Konig wheels did you get?
Kalgorn
Konig Five-O http://www.tires-n-parts.com/wheels/konig/five_o.html
GnatGoSplat
Pilot Sport if you want performance. The other two have all-weather tread. If you need all-weather tread, then the other 2 will be better, but I've heard bad things about the MXM4's on anything other than dry pavement. Kalgorn
So I should go with the Michelin MXV4?
SigEpCutlass
personally my bridgestone turanzas did better than the comparable michellins when they were tested before. you might want to check them out
Kalgorn
It's an availability thing.
BIGBULS
Why are you running Cavalier/Beretta/Grand Am diameter tires on your W Body? At least get something CLOSE in diameter to stock (you are currently ~7% smaller...........meaning your speedomter is WAY off). Get the 225/55R17's............they are closest to stock diameter and will last longest.............plus at first glance, it doesn't seem that you are into performance, so go ahead and get the all seasons........ BIGBULS
Oh and I don't know the offset of the new wheels. Konig hasn't emailed me back (don't expect them to) and I can't find it on the internet. You realise it says the offset in that link you gave right? +12mm to +38mm...............in other words, you have choices. I'd also look into the bolt pattern........all that place said was 5 lug...........is that 5 X 100m, or 5 X 114.3mm.........or.....what? Kalgorn
Wow I didn't even see the offset there... I actually bought the wheels off of eBay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7905230655&category=43957 They're 5x115. Yes I plan to get another one from that site I posted earlier. And no I'm not worried about performance tires. I want all seasons so I don't have to worry about putting the stockers on for the winter season. I emailed the seller about the Michelin MXV4 and asked if he could hold a set of 4 for me so I could check them out before buying them since I plan to pick them up instead of shipping them. We'll see what happens.
