godofthunder Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 I was driving today, and honked my horn, and it sounds like its only one tone right now. Anyone know what to do bout that? Jon Quote
GutlessSupreme Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 How many tones is it supposed to be...? :? Quote
supreme_style21 Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 There is actually two horns in there. Beside/behind the battery, in the fender. Quote
godofthunder Posted June 21, 2004 Author Report Posted June 21, 2004 i can hear atleast 2 or something, kinda harmonic. Ill look arround there, but I really dont know what to look for... jon Quote
Baddflash Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 I think what supreme meant was there are two different horns behind the battery, one low one high. Quote

I meant there are actually TWO horns in there. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7905847864&category=33704&sspagename=WDVW They'll look similar to those.. just to give you an idea of what to spot. There are also 2 relays for those, IIRC. Quote
93CutlassSupreme Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 i only had one horn when i replaced mine. Quote
godofthunder Posted June 21, 2004 Author Report Posted June 21, 2004 could it be a fuse for each or something? Or what? jon Quote
93CutlassSupreme Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 maybe your horn is shot. they do go bad over time Quote
runt Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 I'm only blowing one tone right now. It's not hard to find, and your best bet would be to replace it. Then again, it's a horn so no biggie I guess. Quote
godofthunder Posted June 21, 2004 Author Report Posted June 21, 2004 yeah, really, thats what i was wondering though, i dont care if its doing what its doing, but if its an easy fix I wanna get it done jon Quote
Baddflash Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 You're lucky cause when one of mine went it kept blowing fuses, so I think they're on the same circuit. What a pain to figure out which one was bad, being that you need the battery hooked up to test, I got lucky though and picked the right one first try. I still haven't replaced the dead horn yet, as was said before "it's just a horn". Quote
godofthunder Posted June 21, 2004 Author Report Posted June 21, 2004 for the time being, ill just use my finger to people that piss me off Quote
jeremy Posted June 21, 2004 Report Posted June 21, 2004 for the time being, ill just use my finger that's what I use and my horn functions correctly.... Quote
