stockgp Posted June 17, 2004 Report Posted June 17, 2004 there is a plug by the firewall maybe 6-8 inches from the blower motor. it's a 4 wire plug and LOOKS like it plugs into the back of the heater core. anyone got any ideas what it is? Quote
stockgp Posted June 18, 2004 Author Report Posted June 18, 2004 interior. less than a foot to the left of the blower motor plug Quote
Brian P Posted June 18, 2004 Report Posted June 18, 2004 are the 4 wires in 1 row, or is it like a perfect square? Also what year is the car? Thinkin it might be for the dual zone climate control, the pass side motor assmbly Quote
stockgp Posted June 18, 2004 Author Report Posted June 18, 2004 it's a 90 gp. yes all the wires are in a row. fyi, i am trying to convert to a 97 supreme interior, with dual zone climate control that you are referring to. the plug i am asking about is from my 90 gp harness. but i do have the square plug you refer to on my 97 cutty harness. Brian P Posted June 18, 2004 Report Posted June 18, 2004 90 GP .... I don't know offhand till I see the plug. Dual zone wasnt ever in a 1st gen GP. Regals had em I think '89+ and Cutlass got it '95-97 Quote
Manny Posted June 18, 2004 Report Posted June 18, 2004 Sounds like it may be your blower resistor assemby... Does it have 2 bolts holding it in? Quote
GutlessSupreme Posted June 18, 2004 Report Posted June 18, 2004 Sorry for invading your topic, but has anyone ever put the first gen Regals dual climate control in another w? or tried to? Quote
stockgp Posted June 18, 2004 Author Report Posted June 18, 2004 there are two bolts holding the female plug in. and the dual zone climate control i'm putting in is from a 97 cutlass, not a gp. Quote
