cryptnix
I am just currious ... I want to remove my AC all togeather ... figuring that when I swap to my 3800 I'm also going to remove the AC in that as well ... its a burden to have AC anyway ... question is ...how much of a bitch is it to remove it? i don't use it ... rarely do i ever ... i have subs and they sound better when the windows are open (sealed) but... just answer my last questions about mantapart started a whole debate ... THe_DeTAiL3R
I don't think its worth removing it. Parts from weight reduction isn't much, however there would be more room to work around the engine bay. I say keep it in for now until you get the L67.. then you can tear it out and throw it in the trash pile. Never know.. girl passenger might get cranky from hot humid weather and A/C would be good to have while you can
White93z34
i remeber reading somewhere that since no L67 car has a a/c delete option you have to fab up your own a/c delete pulley, that may be a pita right there.
cryptnix
i know that the white cavalier that got the l67 dropped into it removed it ... they ended up using a pulley from a F-150 ... and some type of L arm thing that they fabricated up and mounted it to it ... I'm pretty sure ZZP or Intense has you covered on that one.
