Guest Anonymous
I have some red led projectors for the footwells of my car... But I want to have these come on when the headlights are on. The cig lighter is a continual source even when the car is off. Anyway, can I splice into the headlight wires to have these go on? They are 12v. no1kicker
tap into the headlight switch at the park lights wire, that has power when the lights come on. It's brown I think.
Guest Anonymous
Yes, thats what I was thinking... I disconnected it from my DIC so that it didnt dim when the headlights were on. I beleive that same wire is in the rear lightbar when i was planning on wiring in the spoiler. Anyone else second that?
Guest Anonymous
I have two sets of 2 LED's... each set of two has one plug. I want to hardwire all 4 into one line connected in with the headlights so that they will go on when the headlights are on... I want to avoid resistors and the such... and ideas? LukeZ34
I'd use a relay which is triggered 'On' by turning the headlight switch on. That's the safest way to do it.
