1badtgp
Ok, I've been SUPER friggin busy bewteen some customer projects, some of my own, and working on friends things. Here's the latest saga... 90 Lumina Euro Trans replaced from a donor car that had 140K(only 20k on rebuilt transmission, then engine went and car was scrapped due to rust). Transmission shifted GREAT in the other car. Now, we have it in this one and it shifts good, but will NOT go into OD. Any ideas? No slippage, no complaining, just no OD. I'm stumped!! THe_DeTAiL3R
Is that an overdrive tranny? And did both your cars have overdrive? Probably a stupid question but I see a number of base Luminas with the 3 speed.
1badtgp
The trans is an OD trans from another '90 Euro. It worked great in the other car. Shift linkage is fine, and it shifts through all the gears without fail. It just wont go to OD. You can move the shifter back and forth between OD and D and it stays the same.
