Euro
Ok, so recently it started becoming very humid and hot here, and while i was driving today, my front window started to fog up. I couldnt figure out why. When ever I would leave the car and come back the whole windshield was fogged up. Whats going on? Also, when I had the A/C on, I could see the cold A/C coming out of the vents. It almost looked like smoke? but it wasnt smoke. Is this just how my car is reacting to the humidity? Guest TurboSedan
sounds like your heater core may be leaking coolant?
WhiteOut
Yep, its the heater core. The fogging should be accompanied by a sweet smell, kinda like maple syrup. You'll want to get that fixed right quick before coolant starts leaking in through your vents and ruining the carpet and anything else it touches. cutlsp
oh shit the heater core is leaking in my white one fuck  that would explain the windsheild fogging up a little sometimes.
Guest Anonymous
Gotta be the heater core. And yes, they pretty much suck to change.
Brian P
Lick your window and try to detect coolant taste. yeah... The heater core isn't THAT bad really.
Guest Anonymous
The part that sucks is getting the lines off. Getting them back on isn't too bad.

god910
Hey, if you guys wanna come change a heater core in my 72 LeSabre come with it. This shit is CAKE compared to that, and many like it back in the day. All I can say is DON'T buy one from Advanced Auto, I will buy almost everything from there, but the H/C wasn't exactly plug N Play. It made it harder than it should have been.
