jeremy Posted June 10, 2004 Report Posted June 10, 2004 I am trying to get together some tan pieces to make my interior two tone and I want to know how difficult it would be to swap out my charcoal bags for the tan ones show below....is there a "how to" anywhere???? Thanks in advance Quote
ShockTherapy Posted June 10, 2004 Report Posted June 10, 2004 IIRC, they just flug in, bolt up, and go boom when you hit something. Quote

Brian P Posted June 10, 2004 Report Posted June 10, 2004 pull the airbag fuse, and if you want to be extra safe, disconnect the battery. The drivers airbag has 4 torx bolts on the back, and 1 connector. The pass side panel just pops up and you'll see it. And then remember to sell or donate your graphite drivers airbag to me. Quote
jeremy Posted June 10, 2004 Author Report Posted June 10, 2004 Brian, thanks for the help. If I do decide to swap them I will let you know Quote
DiscoStudd Posted June 10, 2004 Report Posted June 10, 2004 pull the airbag fuse, and if you want to be extra safe, disconnect the battery. The drivers airbag has 4 torx bolts on the back, and 1 connector. The pass side panel just pops up and you'll see it. I will add that you should disconnect the airbag connector under the dash. The wires for the airbag are wrapped in a yellow sheathing and the drivers side connector is at the base of the steering column (also yellow.) Quote
