Guest Anonymous Posted June 10, 2004 Report Posted June 10, 2004 I'm wondering if there is anything that goes in the upper cubby to the right of the steering wheel above the cd player on 94-96 GP's... Its a removable piece... I know the DIC is to the left and on 97-03 GP's the DIC is on the right... So is there anything that goes in the left cubby/ would a 97+ DIC fit the space? Quote
supreme_style21 Posted June 10, 2004 Report Posted June 10, 2004 Nothing goes there. You CAN put a '97+ DIC there.. it fits.. but not perfectly. And no, there is no harness back there. Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted June 10, 2004 Report Posted June 10, 2004 Im considering having an accent light that says 'Grand Prix" go in there that would be wired with the headlights, but I don't know how I could have this piece made to match the dash... It would be black with Grand Prix cut out and red backlighting. Quote
90TGP Posted June 10, 2004 Report Posted June 10, 2004 You could grab a peice from a junkyard and use that as a template. Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted June 10, 2004 Report Posted June 10, 2004 Its not really making the shape thats the problem, but actually fabricating the light itself and cutting out the "GRAND PRIX" in the correct font... Quote
93CutlassSupreme Posted June 10, 2004 Report Posted June 10, 2004 you could use one of those bendy neon lights that ricers use all over their interiors Quote
runt Posted June 10, 2004 Report Posted June 10, 2004 LED's are great too! I'd personally go with LED's because they don't use much power and if you had a switch on 'em, you could leave them on if you parked the car...or is that ricey? Quote

GutlessSupreme Posted June 10, 2004 Report Posted June 10, 2004 I don't think picking a light to use is his problem.. just cutting Grand Prix into the trim and putting something clear in it to have the light shine through. Quote
