skiiirt
For the entire duration of my ownership of this cutty I have had a problem starting. It takes 2 cranks to start. But it ALWAYS starts on the 2nd turnover attempt. Sometimes it starts on the first one. I have been advisedto turn the car on then wait 10 seconds and start it, worked like a charm for the first few times but then went back to the same old crank/stop/wait/crank/start. I have replaced the starter, cleaned the fuel injectors, changed the fuel pump, changed battery, the engine is brand new (rebuilt) so I don't know what I have left to do. Maybe some sensors? Please help me get her purring from the first start Any help/info is appreciated
GPdriver1986
try getting a new fuel pump relay or perhaps it could be a worn out crank sensor

azxr
Try the IAC (Idle Air Control). You may be able to clean it or may have to replace it. I had the same issue on my Ranger. Over time it got harder and harder to start, but would start always on the 2nd try. Cleaned the IAC and back to starting on the first try. You may also want to search for the idle relearn and do it after you clean it.
