THe_DeTAiL3R
Stupid question.. do you have it in Drive? I once parked it and was like WTF until I put it in park  Could be a problem with your ignition not unlocking the guts inside the column of which I am not too familiar with (88s don't have locking supposidly )

He said steering wheel RADIO CONTROLS. At least, that's what I hope he's refering to. Stanley: What do you mean by "not unlocking"? As in they don't work? Or they won't unlock the stereo? Something else?
digitaloutsider
If the car in question has a cassette player that's remaining locked, simply turn on the car, flip on the lights, and the headunit should automatically unlock. If it's a CD Player (Delco-Loc II) you'll need a code for it. To unlock a Delco-Loc II/Theftlock Equipped radio: http://www.w-body.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12108
