Brian P Posted June 7, 2004 Report Share Posted June 7, 2004 Thats a broken wire for the coolant temperature sensor for the gage cluster. That end with the boot is non-removable unless you snap it off. Obviously someone replaced it on your car. The sensor screws into the rear head, drivers side.
