Guest Anonymous
OK, I got my calipers and brackets from malibuolds. I went today and got new rotors and pads. Here's my question... Why are the brake pads so much smaller than the rotor? I mean, why aren't they bigger to cover more area on the rotor? These pads aren't much bigger than the ones on my car now. STR
they, the pads, don't have to be bigger. the farther from center the pad sits on the rotor, the better the braking.
Chris A
Speaking of working parking brake, did you use your old pedal or the new one. if so what was involved in getting the cables hooked up. I wanted to make sure I had the right procedure since I only have experience with swaping in the newer parking brake. Chris
Guest Anonymous
Your talking to STR right? Cause I haven't done my brakes yet. Sucks not having a garage.
Chris A
yeah, I am. I was hoping he used the old parking brake pedal so I knew for sure it would work that way. This thread just reminded me to ask.

Do a search on this site and you will see some pic's
