dohc v6
i have a 94 lumina z34 with a ffp pulley and the belt keeps on sliping off the tensioner pulley a little bit. the belt does not fall off but slides over to the very edge of the tensioner pulley. now i tryed to adjust it but nothing works. what is wrong
jeremy
the pulley might be incorrectly aligned....
WhiteOut
Also check to make sure the tensioner went fully into the running position, sometimes they stick which won't put quite enough tension on the belt and cause it to slip off. stockgp
my budy had the same problem with his 94 cutty ciera s. his tensioner actually came apart. the two halves that hold the spring in seperated. i just gave him a tensioner off my 90 gp. works perfect
