chronic139 Posted December 7, 2002 Report Posted December 7, 2002 when i turn the wheel at slow speeds i get a thunk noise from the front-end. I lifted it up and checked the normal stuff and everything is tight. CV boots are solid. Im thinking maybe a bad bushing somewhere? Any suggestions? The car is a 92 GTP. Quote
JPaganel Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 Can you get it to do that when stopped? Do you feel anything in the steering wheel? Quote
Guest Posted December 8, 2002 Report Posted December 8, 2002 check to see if the mounts, and cross bars are all tightned down. One of my friends was getting a noise, and when we were looking for it, we noticed that the bar that goes from the strut tower to the front frame was LOOSE. We tightened it, and the noise went away.
