mfewtrail Posted May 31, 2004 Report Posted May 31, 2004 I don't have the answer to your question..but I do have one of those lights off my 93 Grand Prix SE here and took some measurements for you..hopefully they'll help The lights are 5 & 3/4'' wide and 3'' tall(not including the 1/2'' bracket/attachment point on the bottom of the light. If you need any other measurements on them, just let me know. Quote
GutlessSupreme Posted May 31, 2004 Author Report Posted May 31, 2004 thanks. after attempting to take mine out today.. eyeballing it they almost definetly aren't the same size, or the same light anyway.. gah. Quote
Brian P Posted June 1, 2004 Report Posted June 1, 2004 Those won't fit. Get a set of "Pilot" lights from autozone. The ones that LOOK like your stock size will actually bolt into the stock brackets. Quote
GutlessSupreme Posted June 1, 2004 Author Report Posted June 1, 2004 alright, I'll do that. thanks. Quote
dsgrntld187 Posted June 1, 2004 Report Posted June 1, 2004 Hey, how much do a set of those Pilot lights run, and will they fit a 94 CS sedan? -Spencer Quote
93CutlassSupreme Posted June 1, 2004 Report Posted June 1, 2004 be aware about Pilot fog lights, the seals will break, and i haven't found an aftermarket sealer/expoxy that will hold for any length of time you can see them in my sig. Quote
Brian P Posted June 1, 2004 Report Posted June 1, 2004 I think you got the blue ones. The rice ones don't hold. I bought the white ones and they've held for quite a while on my old car. Autozone doesn't stock them as abundant as the yellow or type Blue. Quote

Too bad it's not a fog pattern. Quote

Too bad it's not a fog pattern. i might pick some of those up. i drive a lot on non-lighted two lane roads, and fogs don't do shit distance-wise. do those use a regular 55watt bulb? Quote
Givemebreak Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 When I had my 93' cutty.....these are an EXACT replacement for the stockers.... the mount up to the factory locations.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=2480867254&category=33709&sspagename=WDVW Quote
GutlessSupreme Posted June 2, 2004 Author Report Posted June 2, 2004 I think I'll do those then, I wanted fogs over driving lights. thanks all Quote

Brian P Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 The driving lights I showed earlier are glass lens/metal housing Quote
93CutlassSupreme Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 The driving lights I showed earlier are glass lens/metal housing for $20? damn that's a good deal Quote
Brian P Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 yeah it's definetly good, just it has the driving beam pattern. I'd prefer the fog pattern. Quote
Psych0matt Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 Yeah, I put these in my 94 cutlass shortly after I bought it last summer, and have had no problems since. All I did was mount the bracket that came with it into the factory bracket, and everything just wires into factory. They've worked awesomely for me this whole time, no cracks or chips or anything Quote
