pbj59
Is there any info on a vin that would tell if the car (93 gp se 3.1 auto ) has 4 wheel disk brakes? The vin is 1g2wj14txpf214815. Mine is making a grinding- roaring sound from the rear wheels, worse if someones in the back seat. I think the rear bearings are bad. Are these hard to change? Bolt in or special tools? It has abs brakes. RW

pbj59
Is the bearing hub assembly hard to replace on this? RW
SigEpCutlass
this may sound stupid, but you can just look through your rims to see if you have dics
GPRACER
Not too hard to change bearings if the car has not seen too much salt/winter. I had to use oxy/acetelyne on mine, other than that, no special tools required. If the bearings are bad enough they will have play, Jack the rear of the car and pull the wheel in/out or up/down. Another way is to spin the wheel by hand while holding the strut, usually you can feel the roughness through the suspension if the bearing is bad enough.
