99RegalGS Posted May 28, 2004 Report Posted May 28, 2004 My Right rear shock decided to relocate itself today. :x Looks like my Regal is going to be parked for a few days. Quote
99RegalGS Posted May 28, 2004 Author Report Posted May 28, 2004 The rear shouck mount was going bad and I guess it just let go. Quote
Z34door Posted May 28, 2004 Report Posted May 28, 2004 its not that bad actually.............. jsut spray the bottom 2 bolts with PB blaster a couple times a few hours before you actually take it apart. Quote
Lee Posted May 28, 2004 Report Posted May 28, 2004 I think I'd rather mine had done what your's did. Mine went right through and was banging on the rear deck speaker mount, (The steel plate the speakers mount to.) Mine went while on a washboard gravel road. I ended up jacking up the car and placing a block of wood over the rod. I drilled a beveled hole in the wood for the rod to sit into to keep it in place. (not all the way though the wood.) Then I put a piece of foam rubber between the board and the metal plate. It got me around for a couple days. Quote
