245/45/17s fit without problems and they are almost the exact same dimensions as 245/40/18s, so they will fit if your rims have the correct offset....

Be careful about the tires your buying, despite their ratings they vary in physical size due to the tires profile. For example it turns out that my old Michelin X-One tires that were 215's actually measured more like 245 across since they had a broad flat profile. In fact they are actually wider in cross section than the new 235 Goodyear GT's that I've got on my car now which have a more rounder profile. Go figure.

My new tires that are goin on my Eagel 077's are 235/50/18....with my lowering springs on the front...its gonna be damn close on clearance.

 

I might have to die grind a bit of my metal fender away underneath the B4U.....of course i'll repaint it so it won't rust.
