GP console ash tray question

I have found a console trim piece from a 5 speed GP with DIC, but it has a broken/missing ash tray cover. I am wondering if the ash tray in my auto console is EXACTLY the same so that I can swap it over if necessary. I can't see it being different but if anyone knows for sure I'd appreciate it.
