musthavemuzk
saw a tip about oiling them prior to installing them. nice tip but my question is do the injector o-rings need to be changed each time you remove injectors? i changed the lower intake on my cutlass last fall late and put new injector o-rings in at that time. soon it is to go back together after head work. will i need to put new injector o-rings in? Monty Yes, I recommend changing them. But, if you do it right, you will only have to change the o-rings where they meet the manifold. You can pull the rail with injectors in, out at the same time. Its just a precaution thing. Usually they wont tear when you pull them out, but sometimes they do tear
musthavemuzk
well i did not like the price i paid for them, but it is much cheaper than replacing the engine from a fuel leak turned blaze. guess i will just put them on my list of parts to buy. thanx Robby Monty
Canada
Its only like $6 for the entire set of O-rings....
Robby1870
Its only like $6 for the entire set of O-rings.... When I buy them, they come in a box of 12 and its about $12 bucks for them....a bit pricey, but that covers two times of taking them out. WhiteOut
I just reused my old ones because when I went to Napa they were like $5-6 for a set, and the guy said I needed six sets (for six injectors). I said screw that and I just sprayed the old ones down with silicone spray.
Robby1870
You can buy just the bottom o-rings for the injectors, just have to know what to ask for.
4spdz34
u shouldn't have to replace them. and if u did replace them once i wouldn't do it again, just make sure they aren't tore and grease them up they will be fine

Heza
You can buy just the bottom o-rings for the injectors, just have to know what to ask for. no you cant. i was just at the dealership to buy them. set of 18 (2 lower/1 upper per injector) is in the kit. you CANNOT just buy the lower rings. ...and its $15. god910
Shit, I'd be one broke bitch if I replaced them every time I removed them. I'd have to buy stock in that fukin company. I bought a kit from adv. auto and all the O-rings were the same. No diff. between upper and lower (that I could tell anyhow. )
