wbody1973 Posted May 17, 2004 Report Share Posted May 17, 2004 Doing a auto too 5 speed 282 swap. drivers side axle bolts up fine. passengerside axle doesn't. why don't this one bolt up, and what model of cars can we pull this axle off of?? seems as in the alxe that we have has too big of a stock for the tranny.... these guys came to pa too swap this, and we need too get em home :shock: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

wbody1973 Posted May 17, 2004 Author Report Share Posted May 17, 2004 well, we got the tranny from a prix. an 89. so, we fit up the drivers side axle. it works. then we went too put in the passenger side. were missing the jack shaft. this part is what the shaft slips into. which slides onto the tranny. would one of these off an 89 cutlass auto work. we tried a 90 prix. i also have a 92 lumina z too pull stuff off of. any help would be very appreciated....
