cutlsp
i already went there i'm questioning the chip do i really need it or can i go with the one from the totaled car?
Baddflash
You're going to have to bypass the anti-theft somehow. If you don't get a chip you'll have to find another way around it, there are three different types of anti-theft. I believe though I may be wrong about this, I know I read it somewhere. Guest TurboSedan
I'm going to be soon. Â it's funny because i never really hear of anyone talking about an S1 L67 swap into a W-body, and i would *think* it would be quite a bit easier than the S2 swap. i know the '92-'93 L67 had a rather weak rating of 205hp, but the '93-'94 had 220 or 225 hp...that aint too bad. i'd rather have a 220hp L67 than a 220hp LQ1. digitaloutsider
I know how it has the lower HP rating, but the simplicity is what I'm looking for. I'll give up the extra HP that a SII offers just to have that ease of installation. Once I get a good job, and prices on them come down, I'm dropping in a Series III. Â Why not just drive the shit out of your 3.1 and drop in a SIII when that shits out? I can see why you'd want to get rid of the 3.1 for a 3800, but why do two engine swaps? Because I can get a Series I L67 out of the yard now for $110, and have a working car with 3800 done in a week. The Series III is going to cost major $$$$$$$$$$ and will take a while getting everything worked out. Plus, that'll be in two or three years anyway. I need some 3800 power now, lol. Â works for me an S1 L67 should pull a W-body along pretty good, and you'd save a helluva lot of money over an S2 swap. aftermarket might be a consideration here - i would assume ALOT is available for the S2, but maybe not the S1. i would think an S1 with a few mods should hang with a stock S2 no problem, ecspecially if you put the car on a diet. Â the S3, well....unless you got some ca$h...and there probably aren't too many junkyard '04 GTPs available quite yet either

One was really sad... the interior was sooo mint.. leather... (fake) wood trim... sexxxy...  And the engine bay was sad... everything that was any form of plastic was melted...  There was also a Caddy Eldorado... sleek black... and it smelled like something DIED inside it.. animal hair and residue on the black leather seats... ugh. If you can find your way to South I-75, get off at the West Carrollton exit, and go straight. Right after the speed limit becomes 45 MPH, it'll come up on your right. It'll surprise you the first time, and you'll have to slam on your brakes...
slick
I live about 1 mile off of I-75... What exit number is it? Is it a U-pull? How are the prices there?

I'm not sure what exit number it is, but I can tell you it's just a couple exits past downtown Dayton. The river will be on your right, and it's the only West Carrollton exit on 75.  It's a U-pull yard, the prices are alright. It's not too bad, it's really up to what you think.
