4T60-HD Clutch paks

Does the Turbo's 4T60 HD tranny use and thicker Clutch pak?

 

Will this work?

 

RCP96050 GM 4T60 89-91 w/ Thinner 3rd Clutches 0.078" (1.98mm)

 

Or is there a better kit out there?

Doknow, but noticed your TGP has SE wheels. If you need gold ones here's some on ebay.

when doing my rebuild, I've always used borg-warner parts, you can find their catalogue at http://www.bwauto.com/aftermar/2002%20Product.pdf

 

I don't know about performance stuff, but you may be able to X-reference the parts there.

You are correct.. haha.. Those are the wheels off my Wife's 89 SE. I swapped.. Cuz the TGP is beeing parted out (Salvage Title). the engine and tranny are being refreshed and added to my 89 SE Clone...

It would be nice to see where exactly you found that kit you metioned on your first post.

I too wonder cuz I heard that the 3t40 and the 4t60 share some clutches.

I've heard that too, and if it's true, and you can get a better "performance" clutch pack for the 440t4's I'd be so down for it.
