BigRed95
I've managed to get a package deal of a 1996 40,000 mile 3.4 with all belt driven accessories, flywheel, wire harness and computer for $850. Anyone ever do this swap? I dont' think I'll have to much trouble. Shoudnlt I be able to pull the current 3100 out without taking the transmission (4t60E) out? Thanks for any information anyone can supply.
EurosportZ34
I haven't but am thinking about swapping a '95 LQ1 with my '91 LH0. Swapping the 3.4's are alot easier than the 3.8's cause they were made for our cars. Good-luck, I'm sure I'll need it when I start mine. 5speedz34
You should be able to use the 3100's 4t60e, unless the gear ratios are different. Umm, but since the 3.4 is a 96 motor, and that means its OBD II then your gonna have to get a pre-96 harness to make it work in the car. -Tony
