GutlessSupreme Posted May 13, 2004 Report Share Posted May 13, 2004 I need to replace the bits of chrome trim on the back of my hood and I have no idea where to get it. I'd just take it off and forget about that piece but then it still wraps around the rest of the car and is built into the window seals on the outside. I may try to get away with just painting the chrome black or white (car's white) but I'm scared to to anything having anything to do with paint on my car, so I don't think that'll happen. THe_DeTAiL3R Posted May 13, 2004 Report Share Posted May 13, 2004 I had the small piece come off the pass side fender.. the paint under looked like new. Since I painted my car black, its grey (original color). If I were to repaint my car again I'd take all the trim off. Good luck finding a piece, and more importantly having it stick!
